The Church Centre

The Centre was officially opened by the Rt Revd Robert Williamson in 1995.

It is now used both for church events and by other organisations. It is fully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen, toilets, tables and chairs; it is licensed to seat 70 people seated or 100 standing. The Parish Centre is attached to the church, and accessible both from it and from the churchyard.

Our centre is the ideal venue for children's birthday parties, yoga classes and interest group meetings. This flexible space is suitable to meet all of your needs.

Director of MusicMusic at St Mary's

St Mary’s has a strong musical tradition. Built around the regular weekly services of Sung Eucharist and Choral Evensong, our highly-regarded choir of boys and adults sings a wide variety of music. St Mary's Ladies Choir lead the Sunday worship and perform an anthem once a month. During the summer months a 'scratch' choir operates, open to all.
