St Mary's is a member of the Quiet Garden Trust |
St
Mary's Youth Fellowship
(to
the tune of "Much Binding in the Marsh")
After
the Reunion Buffet on Saturday afternoon…
At
Saint Mary's Fellowship,
We
really are a happy band of people (tiddle-ee, pom-pom)
At
Saint Mary's Fellowship,
Our
spirits soar as high as any steeple.
We've
met our friends, rolled back the years,
We've
all had lots of fun;
Now
our Reunion's over
There's
just one thing to be done;
That's
wish ourselves good luck, good health
And
God Bless everyone
At
Saint Mary's Fellowship
(Three
cheers for Selwyn, Hip, Hip etc.)

We
really are a close-knit band of "SMYFians"

We
don't want any tears, we're not "St. Swithians".
We
loved our Supper Concert, it was just too, too divine,
Perhaps
what we loved best of all was all that lovely wine,
Now
all we hope is that we all
Will
get to Church on time
(that's
09.30)

We're
young at heart no matter what our age is...

[a
la Maj. Gen. Stanley, Pirates of Penzance] er, er...age is, age is, ah, yes!
we've got it!
To
make this rhyme has taken simply ages (ah! hem!)
We'd
like to thank dear Selwyn now and the Churchwardens too,
The
PCC, St. Mary's Friends and all Bell-ringers who
Allowed
us all to share with them their celebrations too
