St Mary's Handbell Ringers
| Formed in 1989, this group has grown and changed, both in personnel and bells. We began with a basic diatonic 12 and now have enough to cover two almost-chromatic octaves. |  |

We ring in-hand from numerical notation and hold weekly practices. We are affiliated to the Handbell Ringers of Great Britain. We occasionally attend rallies and enter Music Festivals and we give demonstrations and entertain when invited. |
| We arrange most of our music ourselves and sell our arrangements to other small bands. We work under the heading Cantate Music and further details can be found on the Cantate website. |

Any "lapsed" ringers would be most welcome to join our band and we are also happy to teach newcomers. (Practice night is Sunday 7.45 - 10.00 with generous coffee break!) |
